CLASSIFICATION OF VEGETABLES

Across the world, more than 10,000 species of plants are grown as vegetables; approximately 50 plant species are used for commercial vegetable cultivation. It is therefore important to classify them into different groups to understand the relationship of cultural requirements and to ease the understandability of their adaptability under agro-climatic conditions.
