Radish is tolerant to heat, but to produce good-flavored, texture, and good-size radish, a cool-season with a temperature between 10°C and 15°C is required. Under hot weather conditions, small-rooted varieties produce tough and extremely pungent roots. They should be harvested while still young and small rather than allowed to reach edible size.
