Pest and Disease in Green Gram Cultivation

Green Gram crop is grown mostly under rainfed conditions (Kharif season) but during summer it can be grown only when the assured irrigation facilities are available. During the summer, the crop is grown for its grain or green manuring, which adds 40–50 kg of residual fertility per hectare after the mature pods are picked off.
